Yes nothing can stop a science student from pursuing anything provided you have a honours as it is generally required for doing Masters if you have interest in arts go for it remember one thing "jo science padh sakta hai wo kuch kar sakta hai" (those who can study science can do anything)

MAEnglish is a2-year post graduate course in English language and literature. It is divided into any ofsemesters or years.The course covers English literary studies, theories, criticism and pedagogy, all in the form of theory.
The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelors degree in English or relevant disciplinefrom a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. However, someMA English collegesalso provide direct admission based on merit.
Thecourse is offered in India at an average annual fee ranging between INR 50,000 and 3 Lacs. The amount varies according to the different institute providing this course.
The average salary offered in India to successful postgraduates of the course ranges between INR 3 and 8 Lacs, annually, depending on the candidates expertise and the reputation of the Institute of post-graduation.

Currently I'm doing my bsc biotechnology..I would like to take ma English after graduation .Will it be difficult to study as I don't have a base of ba english.which are the best college at kerala and Bangalore?Can I know the scope after doing this course?

Yes you can do masters in English after graduating from Bsc. But have to check with the admission criteria as only few universities allow this procedure like DU.
