Hello candidate,

An optimatrist is a professional who takes care of vision, and eyes related problems. They are not  medical doctors but perform services such as primary vision care ranging from sight testing and correction to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vision.

Such Professionals are not allowed to prescribe heavier doses of medicines, but can advise the patients about oral antibiotics if needed.

Hope it helps!!
