This is July 2020 and JEE Advanced will be conducted in September 2020. And JEE Advanced 2021 might happen around May/June 2021. If someone wants to be a topper across the country but only wants to dedicate 6 months of his/her time, that is not going to be possible. No offense and hope none is taken but there are lakhs of students who appear for JEE Mains every year and half of them dont even qualify for JEE Advanced. And more or less, a percentile of 85 or more is required for qualifying in JEE Advanced. So the top candidates appear for JEE Advanced. Their years of hard work and dedication is what gets their name to the JEE Advanced qualifiers list. And hardwork cannot be replaced with dreams and probabilities. So not to be rude and at the same time being honest, mere 6 months of preparation is not going to make anyone an All India Ranker. JEE Advanced is the gateway for admission to all the IITs. And if you happened to read any of the interviews of the previous toppers, all their stories include atleast a year of preparation for 18 hours a day. Few people are gifted with Intelligence but that can only help when hardwork complements it. So if you want to be an All India Topper in JEE Advanced, 6 months is not enough because even Rome was not built in a day!
