Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak does not offer BA but this course is offered in its affiliated colleges. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) is a state government, UGC approved and  NAAC accredited grade A college located in Rohtak, Haryana. It was established in 1976.

It offers a vast range of UG, PG and research-level programmes to students. It also offers the option of distance education for a number of UG and PG courses namely BA, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom etc.

There is different eligibility criteria for different courses in different streams. The basic eligibility for BA courses is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board.

The institute charges different fees for different streams in BA courses. The annual fee for distance learning BA is around 7000.
