Hi,

For the MBBS Course in Madras Medical College, 15% of the seats are on the basis of NEET-UG and the rest 85% of the seats are based on State Quota which will be followed by counselling.

The eligibility criteria for SC/ST will be to secure a minimum 40% marks in Botany/Biology and Zoology taken together and a minimum 40% marks in Physics & Chemistry taken together. The total aggregate percentage of marks should not be less than 40%

The cutoff marks and the cutoff rank in 2018 (SC) for Madras Medical College was 380 and 1718 respectively. The official release of the NEET cutoff 2020 TamilNadu is still not yet to release, we can only go by the expected cutoff trends from the previous years.

Please do refer to the following link for more information for the previous years cutoffs.

There is still time for the NEET examination so I would suggest you to focus and do not worry. Do your best!

Hope this helps, All the best!

Hello aspirant!

First of all, all the best for your NEET exam. The opening rank needed to get in MMC, Chennai for SC category is 3612 and closing rank is 13268 as of 2018 report. And it was increased in 2019 because of heavy competition. But, in 2020 you have given  enough time to study. So, the expecting outcome of question paper will be tough. And the cut off will also be increased in 2020. In my opinion, the cut off will rise to 400+ to get into MMC. So you should use this time to study well. Don't be afraid of your question papers. Beyond your confidence, nothing is gonna be hard for u. Hope this helps!! All the best for your future.
