can anyone tell me that admission into IIT and nit college for jee main 2021 will there be 75% in class 12 criteria or it is been scrapped

Dear student,
The compulsory criteria that students should score at least 75% has been scrapped off due to the covid 19 pandemic situation prevailing in the country. There were chances of students scoring less in boards due to covid 19 reasons. Therefore this criteria has been removed. Also jee is to be conducted 4 times in a year so that students do not miss out any opportunities.

but the brochure that nta has issued for jee 2021 on its website says that for admission into IIT nit there is 75% needed for that
