Hey! Tanya,
The best four percentage includes One language- English/Hindi and other three subjets. So, English is a compulsory subject however you can add sanskrit in best four if you want to pursue Sanskrit Hons. Also, you can add it while taking admissions in other courses, where it is not much specified that you have to add only the given subjects.
