I really think it is not possible to pursue b.tech in civil engineering after completing diploma course in computer engineering. to become eligible for b.tech in civil engineering through lateral entry admission test you have to complete three years diploma in civil engineering course from a recognized university or technical education board.

Now that you have completed diploma in computer engineering , you are eligible to apply for b.tech lateral entry admission to cse or IT stream.
