Can I do BA Economics hons. From any good college of Delhi University ? I did not study maths in 12th ?

Hi Neel!

Yes you will have to take Mathematics in your intermediate curriculum to get admission in Economics Hons in any of the colleges in Delhi University. Although, it is not compulsory to include Mathematics while calculating your BFS (Best of Four Score) but it necessary for you to atleast pass in Mathematics in 12th Board Examination.

If you want to apply for Economics Hons in Delhi University and you did not have Economics as a subject in your 12th standard, then there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your BFS%. Whereas, there is no deduction policy for Mathematics and it is necessary for you to have it as one of your subjects in 12th Standard.
