You can do any one. If you go for Diploma then you have to give an entrance after completion to take N lateral entry in 2nd year.
If you appear jee entrance then you will join in 1st year and you will do a 4 year long degree and get well defined career.
Paths goes the same way. If you make your self able to give jee then prepare for it and appear the exam.
That will be a good option. You have enough time for april month jee exam. You can give it.
If you want to go for Diploma then you can.
