Hello Spurti,

The percentage you have secured is good for getting into the university of Delhi. But the subject you plan to pick is a bit limited and has high competition. You can hopefully get into a DU college to study psychology but you might not get a college of your choice. Though you haven't stated your reservation category, but usually reserved category can get more out of 88% than an open category candidate. What you can do is look into the previous years' cutoff lists and see if you get a college of your choice. You can also get into womensw college, DU has a large number of associated women's college and it is an advantage for female candidates. In a nutshell, you might not get the college you want if you stick to your subject choice, and you might not get the subject if you stick to the college choice, you might have to compromise at one level and you can decide it based on your priorities.

All the best.
