The students' proficiency in mathematics, physics, and chemistry is one of the course's fundamental prerequisites. After completing their 10+2 science requirements with a satisfactory grade (more than 50%)

In India, there are three different aeronautical engineering course categories.

  • A three-year polytechnic diploma programme is available after passing the 10 or 10+2 exam.
  • After passing the 10+2 exam, UG degree programmes lasting 4 years lead to the BE/B.Tech.
  • after completing a UG engineering degree, 2 year long PG degree programmes leading to a ME/M.Tech.
  • After completing a PG degree in AE, doctoral degree programmes with a duration of one to two years are available.
