Hii Aspirant, You had not mentioned so much detail like your category etc. Your rank is not quite good for bit patna CSE because last year cutoff for the patna in CSE is about 50,000-75,000.

But don't loose hope you can get anotherbranch like IT,  ECE , Electrical etc.

See Bit Patna is basically an extension for Bit Mesra and the chances for you to get a seat at Bit Patna are real good. 

According to the previous year trends, the cutoff for admissions is just near to the cutoff of Jee and the trends are expected to be continued. 

And with that probability, you are quite closer to reserve a seat for yourself.

The branch can be a matter of concern for you but if the only thing of concern for you is college then you must be ok with that..
