Hi,
Yes, you can give JEE Mains exams, Session 1 and Session 2 in two different states. You can update your present address and choose new exam city when the Session 2 registration opens. NTA allows candidates to select for different exam cities according to convenience.
Hope it helps!!!
Hi Aryan,
Yes, you can give JEE Main Session 1 and Session 2 in two different states.
When you fill out the registration form for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 , you will be allowed to update your present address and choose a different exam city . So, if you move from Chandigarh to Uttar Pradesh, you can select a city in Uttar Pradesh as your exam centre for Session 2.
Just make sure to choose the correct city while filling the Session 2 application form.
Hope it helps !
Hello dear candidate,
Yes, you can give JEE main session 1 in chandigarh and session 2 in Uttar Pradesh.
when session 2 form opens, when you can change your address and choose your new exam city. As NTA allows different exam centres for each session.
Thank you
Hello,
Yes, you can.
While registering for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, you will get the option to update your address and choose a different exam city. So, you can give Session 1 in Chandigarh and Session 2 in Uttar Pradesh without any issue.
Thanks.
The JEE first and the second session both have a separate registration window and separate fee for the examination. When a candidate registers for JEE session 2 they get a fresh registration setup and hence can choose a different examination place. The NTA registers the candidates separately for both the tests but there is an option to register together as well. If you have registered for the examinations together then changing the city centre will not be an option for you.
