VITMEE , Vellore Institute of Technology conducts Mtech entrance Examination every year. GATE qualified candidates also need to appear in this exam to secure an MTech Seat in VIT. This is an ONLINE Exam. Reminding you that VITMEE application forms are now available. This exam will be held in 13 disciplines.

The exam includes English Communication Test for all subjects(20 questions). The syllabus for this test is as follows:

• Grammar- SubjectVerb Agreement, Tenses, Article Propositions, Conjunctions
• Transcoding
• Proof Reading
• Preparing Questionaire
• Writing Technical Instructions, Memo, Minutes.

Next part is of Technical Questions. This section has 80 questions. The syllabus is as follows(As you haven't mentioned your discipline, we are providing here some important chapters for some Engineering Disciplines):

• EEE- Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Engineering.
• IE- Engineering Mathematics, Instrumentation.
• ECE- Engineering Mathematics, Network, Analog Circuits, Digital Circuits, Control Systems, Communication Systems, Electromagnetics.

• CH- Process Calculation and Thermodynamics, Momentum Transfer, Particle Technology, Heat Transfer and Chemical Reaction Engineering, Chemical Technology, Mass Transfer, Biochemical Engineering.
• CE- Strength of Materials and Structural Analysis, Geo-Technical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering
