There are some topics that don't have any connection from  class 11th and hence you don't require any base for them from class11th. For example one can study whole calculus part directly in 12th.
However there are certain topics that have connection from class 11th.You can take probability for example.
Overall i will suggest you to keep your study regular in both 11th and 12th.

You can surely learn 12th syllabus without class 11th. But, you will face  lot of problems in understanding the topics and concepts, because all the basics you need to prepare for 12th are in the syllabus of 11th class. So, when you will start preparing for 12th directly, you will end up messing the things. Honestly saying, it is possible to learn 12th directly, but it is very tough to learn it without the basics.

So, I will suggest you to study class 11th first, so that your basics will be cleared and it will be a bit easier for you to clear 12th class.
