Yes, you can take both Mathematics and Biology as subjects in 11th class ISC Boards.
I am an ISC board student with both Mathematics and Biology.
With the Biology stream you have an option to choose one or some schools offer 2 optional subjects, where you can opt for Mathematics and thus study both the subjects in Your 11th.
Gather the information whether the school in which you will be doing your 11th and 12th has the option of Mathematics with Biology and take up the subjects as per your choice.

Yes you can definitely take both mathematics and biology in class 11th standard in ISC board. Actually many people face this dilemma. Even I faced. If you take both mathematics and biology then you can later choose your career path, whether you wanna go for engineering field or medical or any other. You don't have to repent later for choosing mathematics instead of biology or vice-versa. My best suggestion is first choose your right goal, what you wanna pursue you should decide first. And then make a decision. Choosing both the core subjects also have some disadvantage. You have to individually give time to prepare for both the subjects. If you are preparing for entrance exams then you have to face the competetion twice. It can be sometimes diverting and be hectic. So decide wisely.
