HSTES Entrance Test is for admission to Diploma (Engg) Lateral Entry and Lateral Entry in BE/ B.Tech course,
Yes, Other state students can also apply for this exam. But For haryana state students there is a reservation of 85% seats and for other state students it is 15% only.
Minimum eligibility required to participate in this exam is candidate is qualified in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects such as Chemistry, Bio-Technology, and Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
They must be qualified in JEE Main examination conducted through National Testing Agency with qualified marks.
