Hi

Yes,  for NEET 2021 examination even if you have passed 12th as a  private candidate , you are eligible.

This is because,

The case of eligibility of private candidates for Neet examination is in Supreme Court but until the supreme court gives its judgement, private candidates are  eligible for Neet examination, so you are eligible for neet as a private candidate in 12th provided you must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

So, even if you are a private candidate, if you fulfill this criteria then you are eligible for Neet 2021.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
