Can u suggest some carrier option after doing bsc in botany

Well, it is a kind of question that you should have asked yourself before getting admission to BSc.  Let find out the options you will have after completing BSc.

• At first, it is a graduation subject like any other major papers. So, after BSc. (Botany), you can pursue MSc. (Botany) in a good University by either through entrance examination or by joining some good private university if you have the luxury of paying high fees.
• Further, you can later seat for NET/JRF/SET and pursue MPhil. Or Ph.D. and go for Lecturership and Research work.
• Moreover, you can also prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, SBI PO.
  
• You can get a job of Environmental consultant with a Remuneration package of 100000 to 700000 INR per annum.
• Join as a Nursery or Greenhouse Manager and get an appx. salary of 400000 INR per annum.
• You can also render your service as Farming Consultant and can earn up to 500000 INR per annum.
• In the private sector, your job profile will be Park Ranger, herbarium Keeper, Curator, Botanist, Plant Biochemist.
• In PSU's you can join Botanical Survey of India as Botanical Assistant or Preservation Assistant.
• You can also join any Research Institute as a Junior Scientific Assistant.
• You can become Project Assistant in National Institute of Oceanography. After joining your salary will be around 8000 INR per month.
• You can be Forest Range Officer with a salary package between 15000 to 40000 INR per month.
  
• Besides, you can work in the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education.
