See the standard of the paper this year was low as compared to the previous year papers. The questions came easy and can be compared as that of same level as of the paper of 2015. 

About the cut off of the BIOTECHNOLOGY , it will also increase due to the ease in the paper level. The cut off for pursuing ur career in 

IIT BOMBAY  625 gate score

IIT DELHI   600 gate score.
