Central University of jammu for Btech is it good ?
The B tech course in central university consists of various courses like CSE,ESE, cybersecurity etc.The placements record in btech has been good over the past few years , with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical field. So overall it is good.
Central University of Jammu is still a fairly new place for BTech studies, but it’s slowly building up its reputation. The university offers BTech programs in streams like Computer Science and Electronics, and the curriculum is quite solid, aligned with national standards. The labs are decent and the faculty is considered supportive by many students.
Since the BTech program started only recently, the placement records are still in the early stage. Some students have managed to get internships and jobs at known companies, but it’s not as consistent or high-scale as in older engineering colleges. If you’re someone who’s self-motivated and willing to explore opportunities outside campus, it can still be a good launchpad.
The campus is peaceful and set in a developing area. While the surroundings are calm and green, some students feel the location is a bit isolated and facilities are still improving. If you’re okay with a quieter setting and want to grow with an emerging institution, it’s a decent option to consider.
All the best and happy studying!
