Hello,

Environmental degradation is a process through which the natural environment is compromised in some way, reducing biological diversity and the general health of the environment.

  • The primary cause of environmental degradation is human disturbance. ... Environmental changes are based on factors like urbanization, population and economic growth, increase in energy consumption and agricultural intensification.
  • The degradation has adverse impacts on humans, plants, animals and micro-organisms

So you have to explain how different people across India are doing something to reduce this effect or improve the environment condition.

  1. 1.Bishnoi Movement
  2. Chipko movement
  3. Save Silent Valley Movement
  4. Jungle Bachao Andholan
  5. Appiko Movement
  6. Narmada Bachao Andholan (NBA)
  7. Tehri Dam Conflict

These are some movements that has help fight against environment protection. You have to explain this all be your self.

Hope this helps!!!
