The Computer Science and Technology or CST is a sub-branch of computer engineering. Most part of this course  is almost the same as Computer Science Engineering or CSE. The only difference is that CSE is both about hardware as well as software whereas CST deals more with software and some part of ECE too.  So, basically CST includes stuffs about electronics, transmission, networks etc. CST has a broader knowledge and this benefits the student during placements.
