In my opinion the cutoff marks will increase a little bit ... But clearing cutoffarks in gate does not means that you can get good colleges ... For getting good college you have to score good

Hii Vishal..thanks for your opinion..i have one more thing to ask...i have calculated my marks of 2018(Mechanical) set 2...it is around 49.4 ....so is there any chance of getting good branch in some low ranking like NIT silchar ??

colleges do not give admission according to marks rather they give admission to the score generated as the score is normalized. So there will be NO increase or decrease. if someone has 47 marks in 2017 they have a score around 600 and if someone have 52 marks in 2017 they also have the same score as it depends on paper and colleges only consider gate score.

@prayag As you have OBC quota there might be good chances that you can get middle ranked NIT's and also slim chance to get good NIT's.
