NTA score is nothing but percentile score. JEE Main results are given in terms of percentile score. If your NTA score is 72.59 means your percentile score is 72.59. To get admission in an IIT you need to appear for JEE Main and qualify in it. Every year the qualifying cut off percentile changes depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc. The qualifying percentile in 2020 for SC category was 50.1760245. The qualifying percentile in 2021 is expected to be in between 50-55 percentile for SC category. So considering the previous year cut off you may qualify in JEE Main and eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Now to get admission in IIT you will also need to qualify in JEE Advanced. In 2020 the cut off for SC category for JEE Advanced was 12.5 marks altogether and minimum 5 marks in individual subject. As said before cut off changes every year depending on above mentioned factors.
