The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test is held for admissions to the various medical course in the country.

NEET UG is held by the National Testing Agency. It is held for admissions to the various Undergraduate courses. These courses are usually called Bachelor's courses and are done after the completion of 12th standard.

NEET PG is held by the National Board of Examinations and is held for admissions to the various Postgraduate course. These courses are usually called Master's courses and are done after the completion of an Undergraduate course.
