Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is the 3 years full-time diploma level course.

If you want to pursue mechanical engineering then you will get a exposure to other engineering branches also. Some such branches are- industrial engineering, automobile engineering, power engineering, production engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, metallurgical engineering and aeronautical engineering.

Admissions for colleges is usually based on merit basis or entrance exams. Also , most institutes usually have the ‘direct admission’ process.

After diploma , you can also go for Master’s education or PG Diploma programs in these specializations Automobile Engineering , Power Engineering , Production Engineering , Industrial Engineering , Aeronautical Engineering ,Marine Engineering etc.
