Dear aspirant

As both AIQ COUNSELING and state quota counseling are totally different as AIQ COUNSELING are conducted by MCC/DGHS and state quota counseling is conducted by respective State counseling body. So there is nothing like that you will have to participate in 1st round of AIQ to later participate in state quota. You can directly participate in state counseling without participating or registrating in AIQ  both are totally different and not related with each other counseling. You can participate in AIQ if you want to get colleges in state other than your domicile or if you want to get seat in central Universities or AIIMS, jipmer, AFMC, demeed University Colleges etc. If you want to get seat in your respective State of domicile then apply you can apply only in state counselling too. You can skip AIQ and participate directly in state 1st round if you want so.
