Does the practical marks are also included in the 50% marks required for medical entrance?

Yes.. the Theory and practical both marks will be considered for the eligibility criteria of NEET, AIIMS or JIPMER.



Both the marks and its aggregate are important for the final calculation.

Your +2 Aggregate Mark in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is taken into account. Aggregate marks would include Theory plus Practical. Getting 50 percent below in Practicals is merely impossible and a rare event. Total sum (Theory and Practicals) is taken into account and not the individual mark.

Aggregate mark should be

For General - 50 percent or more

For OBC/SC/ST - 40 percent or more

For General Physically Handicapped Category - 45 percent or more



For OBC/SC/ST Physically Handicapped Category - 40 percent or more
