During JoSAA, say I get a seat in Mechanical Engg (Course acceptable) in a college which I do not like and I opt for FLOAT. Then will I loose the allocated seat in the next round or continue to hold it till i get a better college?

Hello Aspirant,

No not at all, if you have been allotted a seat in Mechanical engineering and if you do not like the institute in which you got the branch so you can choose FLOAT option during JOSAA counselling which allows you to upgrade your seat and also the seat you have been allotted earlier will be reserved for you.
