Hello student,


B.sc (biotechnology) is a 3-year undergraduate course  that involves the study of living organisms and bioprocess in engineering,  medicine and by products. It involves the study of the cellular and bimolecular processes for development of a variety of technologies and products that contribute to improving people’s lives and health.

B.Sc Microbiology is also a 3-year undergraduate course involving the study of microorganisms that are helpful in research work. They help in answering questions related to Genetics, Metabolism, Cell forms & function. The main focus of the course is the pathogenic potential of the organisms that causes diseases in man.


The choice is yours. Both have a great deal of scope and are useful to mankind.
