For computer Engineering, what all subjects r necessary and is there any programming in it

Computer engineering and Computer Science are very same and to an extent have very similiar subjects and both have programming in it(most colleges). However, CE focuses on the hardware side while CS focuses on the software side.

it is not necessary to have learnt computer science in your 12th grade.The basic requirements are a physics,chemistry and mathematics background.
Yes,upon joining the course,you will find out that it is important to know how to code in C language as well as C++.Languages like python,java and HTML will also be taught.
