There are nearly seven government colleges for engineering in Mumbai including an IIT.The other govt.colleges are : Institute of chemical technology,Veermata Jijabai technological institute,University of Mumbai,Marine engineering research institution,Usha Mittal institute of technology,and the other one is for women which is named as SMDT womens university,Mumbai.
