With a rank of 20,472 in obc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government IHM's when comparing the results of previous years in first round. Last year, the closing ranks for the government IHM's were around 18,000. But you can apply for any private institutes. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
