Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that your age is less than 17 years in the high school certificate and it is correct in your birth certificate so I would tell you that you need to change your birth date in your high school certificate.

It is there in the neet eligibility criteria the candidate should be atleast of 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2021. Otherwise this could create a problem unecessarily.

Hi

Actually, you need to fill your date of birth as per your 10th certificate.

Anyway, what is your date of birth in 10th certificate?

It's completely ok even if you are not 17 years old right now as per the certificate you do not need to be 17 years old while filling the Neet application form rather you need to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December 2021.

So,

Even if you are less than 17 years old but will be 17 years old by 31st December 2021 as per 10th certificate then you are eligible for neet 2021 and thus, can fill Neet 2021 application form.

For your reference,

Neet eligibility criteria is provided below:-

As per, Neet 2021 eligibility criteria to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc/St

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
