hello...i am a SC student may i know that except 2 top nits how much percentile is sufficient for getting nit with good branch like mechanical electrical???
Hi Aspirant,
Being SC students the percentile required to get into NIT is much lower for you as compared to general.Generally if you can maintain percentile above 91% then you can expect your seat in some NITs like Uttarakhand,Jamshedpur,Sikkim,Meghalaya etc.To be more accurate with the rank you can expect seat in NIT Manipur at rank of 33k and above in mechanical.NIT patna at 4655 rank in electrical. You can check more such details in the link below:

Hope it helps!!
hello aspirant,
As of now its tough to say what could be the cutoff for colleges because the cutoff changes every year due to many factors like difficulty level of paper, total students appearing for exam etc.however based on previous year analysis,we can fix a boundary of cutoff for particular colleges.however based on https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-btech-electronics-communication-engineering and other cutoffs for your category fetching a percentile 97+ would be helpful to you to fetch a seat anywhere and that wont be a problem even if the cutoff rises.

hope this helps,
thankyou.
