Only income having less than 8 lakh will not make you eligible for EWS. You should also fullfill other criteria too. Some of them with income less than 8 lakhs are

• 5 acres of agricultural land and above;

• Residential at of 1000 sq ft. and above;

• plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities;

• Residential, plot of 200 sq. yards and above in areas other than the notified municipalities

IF you fullfill above all criteria you can apply for EWS certificate and then can participate in the counselling through EWS category anywhere either in AIQ COUNSELING or Maharashtra State counseling
