Hi , I have taken PCM + ED , but i want to be an computer science engineer , so is it possible for me to pursue my career in cse as i have ed as my optional subject instead of cs ?

Yeah! Obviously you can pursue BTech/BE CSE if you have PCM. There are no such requirement of CS in your 10+2, in order to be eligible for the course. Now for BTech/BE CSE you need to qualify entrance examination.

Some of the entrance examinations preferred by most students for engineering are:

  • JEE MAINS
  • JEE ADVANCED
  • MHTCET
  • EAMCET
  • WBJEE

The first two are national level examination which gives you admission to premiere institutes such as IIT's, NIT's etc.  Also private institutes such as BITS, VIT, SRM etc conduct there own entrances.
