Hi

Yes , you can definitely take 1 year drop to prepare for your JEE  examination but yes drop only if you are passionate about preparing well ,working hard and remaining honest towards your preparation in the drop year, and don't worry at all regarding you drop , many students every year take a drop and appear for JEE mains and not only qualify JEE mains but advance too and even get into IITs . Even you can do the same .

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your JEE in your drop year :-

Complete the syllabus of JEE first , your major focus should be on clearing concepts while going through the syllabus as JEE questions are quite difficult and crystal clear concepts are required to solve them , go through solved examples first to learn how concepts learnt in the chapter are used to solve questions

Practice questions after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs

You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily

Revise your concepts, important formulas etc at regular intervals, like once in a week or 15 days .

Make routine or timetable :- you can make a routine as well and try to give at least 8 hours or more to study.

Solve previous year questions of JEE

once you are done with the complete  syllabus go through mock test papers of JEE

Some of the top books which you can follow for the preparation of your JEE  examination and master JEE syllabus  is provided below:-

Dear Aspirant,

As you have defined the situation it looks like this will be your last attempt, that is the third attempt at the JEE main exam and also you will not be eligible for the JEE advanced this year.

Now if you have did nothing in these two years then you definitely needed the offline coaching to get through the preparation, along with that you have to study hard by yourself.

If you are willing to take the coaching then you can get a good college for admission.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
