Hii what is the method to become collecter give full details about eligibility,salary,how to prepare for exams

It is very nice that you are interested to become collector. Collector is appointed by Central government at district level to handle revenue and administration.

Eligibility

1. Qualification

You must have bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized university

2. Age limit

21 to 32 for general category relaxation applicable for 3 year's for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST

3. Maximum attempts

General 6 nos

SC/ST 9 nos

OBC no limit

Selection

1. CSAT exam ( civil service Aptitude test)

2. Main exam

3. Interview

Steps to become collector

1. Complete graduation

2. Apply for CSAT conducted by UPSC

3.crack CSAT and become eligible for mains

4. Crack main exam with good score

5. Clear interview

6. You will be appointed as collector in any district

Salary

The average salary is between 20000 to 40000
