Manufacturing is similar to mechanical and thus some core mechanical companies allow manufacturing students to sit for placements.
The course is designed as per required by industry people. Labs are good for experiments and project works. But at the end of the day, the placement scenario is not upto the mark. Hope it helps..

Thanks for your comments ka. I am bit confused to take decision at this situation. So can I take a lead step to join there or look for any other short term course instead.
