Vellore Institute of Technology offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. VIT Vellore B.Tech admission is based on candidates' performance in the VITEEE exam, followed by VITEEE counselling. The courses at VIT University are taught full-time. 

Admission to B.Sc, BBA, B.Sc, B.Com, and M.Sc, is based on previous qualifying exam performance. Similarly, admission to the B.Arch programme requires a valid NATA score. The VITMEE entrance exam score is accepted for M.Tech and MCA admission. VIT Vellore admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses is based on candidates' UCEED and CEED scores.

• Following that, candidates have to fill out the VIT Vellore application form.
• VIT Vellore selects candidates for personal interviews based on their performance in the higher secondary and UCEED.
• The qualified candidates are then invited for a personal interview/skill test.
• In addition, candidates must attend VIT Vellore counselling.
• The final list is compiled based on the performance in the interview/skill test during the counselling process.
• Candidates who are selected for VIT Vellore admissions must get their documents verified and pay course fees.

VIT University BArch Admission Process 

• Eligible candidates must take NATA and obtain a valid score.
• Next, they have to fill out the application form along with the application fee.
• Candidates are shortlisted for personal interviews by the university based on their performance in 10+2 and NATA.
• The qualified candidates are then invited to take the GDPI/Skill Test.

• Eligible candidates have to appear for CEED and get a valid score.
• Following that, they have to fill the online application form.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/counselling session.
• The allocation of seats for the programme is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.
• Once assigned a seat, selected candidates must confirm their admission by having their documents verified and paying the VIT Vellore admission fees.

VIT Vellore MSc Admission Procedure 2025

• Aspiring students must meet the eligibility criteria.
• Next, eligible students have to fill the online application form.
• Admission is based on performance in the UG qualifying examination (or its equivalent).
• The candidates who have been shortlisted based on their merit are then called for admission.
• Candidates are assigned seats in the order of merit based on their UG grades.
