Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Chennai has released the placements for the academic year 2023-24 on its official website. According to the HITS Chennai placement statistics available, HITS Chennai salary package offered to BTech graduates is Rs 4,60,000 per annum. However, MBA students received a salary package of Rs 4,50,000 per annum. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science salary package for MCA students stood at Rs 4,00,000 per annum.

During HITS Chennai placements 2024, out of 1452 students overall, 1364 students were placed, and the placement rate recorded was 93.94%. The major recruiters of HITS Chennai placement drive are Amazon, Zoho, Eurofins, Genpact, Hexaware, and more. HITS Chennai Placement Procedure 2025

A calendar for the recruitment drives is released before the commencement of the first HITS Chennai placement drive.
Based on the calendar or schedule, the HiITS Chennai placement drive dates along with eligibility criteria, job description, location, salary and other details will be released.
Then, eligible and interested candidates will register for the recruitment drive through the online registration portal.
Following that, registered candidates will be called for an orientation meeting to identify the readiness of the students.
Based on the need, boot camps would be arranged to train the students just before the HITS Chennai placements.
A day before or on the same day, a pre-placement talk is arranged for the registered candidates to know about the company.
Then, the recruitment drive will be initiated as per the company norms.
Later, recruitment results will be published after the completion of the drive-through email.

Note: Candidates need to register for the HITS Chennai placement drive.

Placements are average, but I got selected only a fiew companies come with a good package and post. Some are not a job forb MBA graduates .But overall placements are good . We had a special placement training class.

Placements

Placements are not that much, even its better in Tier-3 college. Getting a 4 LPA package is a big deal, but management says like Avg package is 4.5 or 5 LPA. IT Companies which are common among engineering college placements wont come to our college, but they use all companies logo in their placement flex.

Dear aspirant!

A boys hostel and a girls hostel, hostel quality is nice, per annum hostel fees for boys is around 65k and for girls around 85K.

Located on the College campus, the Hostel is the centre of academic, social and cultural activities. The College provides residential facilities for about two hundred undergraduate and postgraduate male students.
