Now only a month is left for Jee Main. However, it is not difficult to score 180+ marks. You need determination and Hard work. Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made. You can make short notes on the topics that you have find difficult to understand.
Never leave any concepts doubtful or unsolved. Once done with the syllabus and concept clarity, you should move towards solving previous years papers. Give mock tests as much as possible. Time management is one more important thing you should look upon. Remember that practise will increase your efficiency.
Give at least two mock tests every week. Then analyze your weak parts and work on them. If you find it difficult to prepare from books like HC Verma, DC Pandey, then only go for NCERTs. From wherever you study, you must complete NCERT Textbooks as many questions are directly asked from NCERTs.

To triple your score in a matter of 45 days is no small feat. This requires undivided focus and unnecessary distractions and any ounce of self doubt. This is only possible if you can keep asking yourself where you went wrong last time. We can answer you what can be done for the future attempt. But only you know what went wrong in the last attempt. Focusing all your energy just on preparation any nothing else is the need of the hour. There is no other secret other than practising.

You need to know your syllabus and understand the exam pattern. Make a plan and stick to it. Make a note of the books to refer from and practise as many mock tests or sample papers as you can.

Divide the syllabus into Class 11 and Class 12 and the topics as "Need to Learn", "Weak" and "Strong". Now it is important to check the weightage of each topic. In Physics, Modern Physics take the top slot with 5 questions. Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Elcetrostatics get 3 questions each. Magnetic has 2 questions and the rest get 1 question each. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot. Thermodynamics and Gaseous state, Atomic structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical and Iconic Equilibrium, Solid State and Surface Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry and Environment get 2 questions slot eacch and the remaining get 1 question each.In Mathematics, Co-ordinate Geometry gets 5 questions. Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus get 3 questions slot each. The rest get 2 and 1 questions slot. For complete breakdown, please read our article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage . Once you complete a topic, try to practise the concepts and write down the important points and paste them somewhere that you can see. Practise questions from that topic. Refer to books like:
