how can i become a doctor after my bsc.chem??
Hi
To become a doctor, you need to do mbbs, ( in case,if you want to become a dentist then you need to do BDS, BHMS to become a homeopathic doctor, BAMS to become Ayurvedic doctor ,BVSc to become a veterinarian ).
Admission in all the medical colleges for Mbbs/ bds / bams etc is through NEET examination on the basis of qualification of 10+2, so even though you have done bsc chemistry, it won't help you when it comes to doing mbbs etc and y ou will have to take the same route of qualifying neet as of that of class 12th student.
Here's how you can do mbbs and thus become a doctor.
------------------) Appear in Neet examination
-
To be eligible one must pass 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category. Also, needs to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of appearing for neet. No age limit is there as of now.
