Hello,

After completing BSc Nursing, you can join the Indian Army through the following ways:

  1. Short Service Commission (SSC) Nursing : The Indian Army offers SSC to female and male nurses through the Army Nursing Corps. You can apply for this after your BSc Nursing. The selection process includes a written exam, interview, and medical tests.

  2. Regular Commission through CDS : If you're eligible, you can appear for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam. This is a competitive exam for entry into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, etc. After clearing CDS, you will undergo training as an officer in the Army.

  3. MNS (Military Nursing Service) : This is another option specifically for females. The Army recruits nurses through the MNS, and you will be trained to serve in military hospitals.

For each of these, you need to check the eligibility criteria and apply accordingly when the notifications are released.

Hope it helps !
