Let me brief you the procedure this year. 

The process starts with individual registration into the JoSAA Portal. Then, the commencement of choice filling, with locking of choices. Then display of Round results, i.e., Seat Allocation. Then document verification or report at the reporting centres. There are 7 rounds of counselling in the JoSAA Counselling.
