Now talking about the two AIIMS you asked , first of all , All the AIIMS have to maintain the same standard of education and hospital facilities .

Comparing the two will not be exactly correct but here is a detail about each of them !!

AIIMS PATNA has the best Biochemistry Department in all the AIIMS according to a survey by PMT corner .

AIIMS PATNA has the highest OPD patient registration on daily basis among the six new AIIMS so you get to see good patient exposure which is a very important aspect of medical learning. Patients per day (approx.) in OPD:

Bhubaneswar: 1200

Patna: 1200

Jodhpur: 1000

Bhopal: 900

Raipur: 900

Rishikesh: 800

AIIMS PATNA has the best Central Library with maximum no. of books .

Wifi facility is also available at Patna & Jodhpur hostel .

AIIMS Patna has well maintained Physiology & Biochemistry lab. with most equipments. & lab technicians.

The Hostel are single roomed and well maintained with 24*7 electricity and water.

The PG seats are there at Jodhpur and are soon to be alloted to AIIMS PATNA.

The Emergency is not yet functional at AIIMS PATNA but is in process to kick start in the recent future .

There is a recent recruitment of 240 faculties at AIIMS PATNA.

The no. of OPD running at Patna are more than that of Jodhpur increasing the variety at AIIMS PATNA.

Patna is good option but due to bad image of Bihar students might ignore it, But it should be kept in mind that Bihar has changed a lot in recent times. Patna is education hub. Good number of Patients are coming to its OPD so as a student you will have exposure to different cases.
