If you have interest in knowing the procedure of machines, of how machine works, and you have interest in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry then you can definitely go for this course, and there is nothing like a particular course is good for a particular gender only, if you interest in something and you want to learn it, then you should definitely go for that, as you can always do better where your interest is.

In response to your question , iwould like to ask you some questions , how is eating food for girls?, how is watching tv for girls ?, how is studying for girls? ... So you differ in these activities on the basis of gender .. Ofcourse not then why in mechanical engineering , girls are no where less than or more than boys , so the way mechanical engineering is for boys the same it is for girls ... Grow up ... I guess the questions like this are a reason behind such low gender ratio of girls in mechanical engineering.
